As a mountain guide I have worked in various parts of the world for the last 25 years.
I have climbed most 4,000m peaks of the Alps with customers, including the Matterhorn 350 times.

I have led well-prepared customers through the Matterhorn North face and some of the big classic walls
El Capitan Half Dome in the Yosemite, Ama Dablam in Nepal and the Alpamayo in the Andes are some of my other successes.

I have been guiding in winter for decades in Zermatt and in different free ride and heliski areas like Canada and India.

As a mountain rescuer I have been working as a mountain rescuer for more than 20 years. In more than one thousand rescue operations, I have experienced some fateful incidents, however I have also learned a lot.

As a hut keeper each summer for 16 years, I have been working at the Hörnli hut at the foot of the Matterhorn.
The summer months give me the necessary balance and a welcome alternative.

I’m pleased that you have put your trust in us, and look forward to showing you the best.

As a mountain guide I have been working full time for 17 years in all the mountains of the world.

As a heliski guide I have worked 5 winters in Last Frontier in Canada (B.C) as a lead guide.
I have also accompanied my private heliski guests to Chile, Greenland and in the whole Alpine region.
In the Alps there are not many mountains I have not climbed.

I have already climbed the Matterhorn 220 times, among which three times by the north face.
My most beautiful ski run in the Alps was the Marinelli Couloir in the Monte Rosa east face.

I am also still active as a teacher in the training of mountain guides and skiing instructors (avalanches).

Abroad, I have organised, led and accompanied expeditions and trekking in the following areas:

  • 2 x Ecuador (5x 5'000)
  • 2 x Mount Mc Kinley in Alaska
  • 3 x Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and the Mount Kenya
  • Argentina (Cerro Aconcagua 6'900m).
  • Nepal (Ama Dablam 6'800m)
  • Helitreking in the Annapurna and in Kumbu Valley
  • Helitreking in India
  • Peru (Alpamayo and Huascaran)
  • Greenland Nunumasartoc Big Wall (3 first ascents)
  • Canada (Assiniboine)
  • Big Wall experience Yosemite (U.S.A) Half Dome
  • Trekking in Patagonia (Bariloche, Torre del Peine, Cerro Torre, Fitz Roy and Tierra del Fuego)
  • Ski touring trips with sailboat in the fjords of Norway
  • Mountaineering trip in Peru
  • Ski touring in Wyoming
  • Greenland skitouring trip in the fjords
  • Russia Mt. Elbrus

I have been involved in more than 350 rescu operations over 14 years. Among the most impressive was certainly the 8 operations in the Himalayas during a two-week training (Nepal).
This also included the highest Longline helicopter rescue at 6950 metres above sea-level on the Annapurna.
